I'm a huge Crosby and Iggy fan so I'll be rooting for the Pens.

I'm still majorly bummed the Blues are not still playing, but I've always liked the Penguins since they had Pierre Larouche as a sniper.

Historically I have loved heir teams, but not since Crosby and Flower arrived. I do love watching Malkin through. Mario and Jagr was really fun to watch.

I don't get how you can root for PIT, they are pretty much the Hawks of the east

I agree with Celtic, Malkin is one of my favourite players to watch too but he is kind of a sucker too

just finished the highlights from yesterday. late back on the feet when the play is still dangerous, always cross-checks from behind, punches a guy who is already down and sucker punches all the way...no, I don't like him or anyone of the big players from the pens and for me its Boston all the way!

and man would Krejci look good in blue

Outside of the star, untouchable players, I don't think there is a center that would fit more perfectly into our lineup than Krejci.

Another year of the Hawks as champs would be insufferable. I'd rather any of the three other teams win, even though I don't particularly like any. I don't think anyone will beat Chicago, though. I'm hoping LA makes it to the finals and loses to Boston.

I also wanna see LA vs Boston, that pretty much means we will see CHI vs PIT

The Hawks are making the Kings look about as untalented as the Blues do at times when they play really skilled teams. Can't make a tape to tape pass. No possession time. No transition. Every play is slow developing.

Kopitar must be playing with a fairly significant lower body injury b/c he can barely push off much less accelerate in open ice.

The Blues and Sharks series appears to have taken a toll because a team with a lot of pride and character got flat out embarrassed for 120 minutes.

It's really hilarious to see the Kings get a taste of their own medicine. I don't like the Hawks, but Kings fans calling the Hawks dirty is pretty laughable.

LA will be worn out - they aren't a fast team to begin with, and obviously you can't count them out yet but I don't think they will be able to stop Chicago's offense the rest of this series.

That pens game was just a tragedy to watch. Does anybody stay on their man, or what? Makin was wandering on the one goal (garbage time, but still) and even Crosby got caught wandering last game. So many breakdowns just makes it horrible to watch.

I hope the Pens and Kings at least make it a series. I hate sweeps. It feels like a rip off.

Seems to be how the Penguins role in the post-season. The goaltending shows cracks and then the team starts running around like frightened sheep in defense.

I love how Burnside is saying Pittsburgh getting beat 6-1 is a shock. Did he not notice the Flyers series last year? They were giving up five or so goals a game. I am not a Fleury fan but it's mostly their D-men being out of position. Bylsma is a bit overrated. Meanwhile, The Bruins look like a good team to keep the hated Blackhawks away from the Cup.

Letang is the one who really stood out to me last night, he was downright terrible. A few of those goals he was just standing there watching them score, doing nothing.

After Iggy vetoing the trade to Boston I am really rooting for Boston to win the series. I just don't like the Pens now. I personally don't like Crosby or Malkin both are pretty dirty players for being star players.

Been rooting for the Pens, unfortunately not looking good.
Don't think LA is going to make it.

Would be fine to see Boston win the cup. I like the way their team is built.

I think the Blues are similar to them, just not as good right now, so hopefully we can get to the point of being a playoff beast like them.

Hmmmm, anyone else here thinking that we could interest the Pens in a trade involving Halak at the end of this series?

I'd trade Halak for a bag of popcorn. Makes way too much money for a guy that you can't even count on to stay healthy.

Except that would be replicating one of the main problems the Pens already have. I see Fleury and Halak as pretty similar. Confidence easily shaken, so those opportunities their D gives up would be a disaster. They need to rethink their defensive game plan, maybe hire a new assistant.

The eastern series should show us all that a #1 D is, in the right system, more worth than a #1 C

And while Iggy is a class act I am sorry but I syill feel a bit schadenfreude

Overall, great job by the Bruins

I think it shows more how overrated Kris Letang is.
