All-Purpose Stu Bickel Thread

Why does Torts keep him in the lineup? He's cost the team so many goals in his short tenure here. I am not exaggerating, he is the worst defenseman I've seen play for the Rangers.

He clearly lacks speed and doesn't have good footwork either. I still think he's better than Gilroy, but Eminger seems to me like a much better option.


I also think that it'd be nice to add a better #6 option at some point this year...

The loss of Michael Sauer is hurting more now than ever. Does everything that Eminger, Bickel and Gilroy do. Sound defensively (Eminger), chips in on offense (Gilroy) and plays with an edge and willing to drop the gloves (Bickel).

And there is no way you can tell that Eminger is not a better option than Bickel. I won't hear it. I won't believe it. Would rather deal with a struggling McIlrath than an awful Bickel.

We don't need Bickel to drop his gloves. We have Asham, Rupp, Pyatt for that. What we need is a defender of hockey.
