If he does, he's officially allergic to offense. That, or has ocd and needs a straight jacket. Horton has been a flat tire all year. Shocked he didn't move up pevs, or Seguin, week ago. At least in some of these games where we needed a goal.
I still think they make a move for a defenseman like Whitney (Caron and Bart/Krug going the other way)
For now, Jagr takes hortons spot on krecji line, paille moves to third line with pevs and horton and daugavins plays on the 4th line while Pandolfo watches from a box
Dog (with no soderberg, Kelly plays 3rd line, Merlot 4th)
PP-(mix and match as youd like)
Looch, dk, jagr, marchand, bergy, seguin, horton, chara, Whitney, Jagr/soderberg (Jagr should see most time on PP, double shift him and give horton some time on first line if needed)
PK-(mix and match as youd like)
Paille, kelly, campbell, peverly, bergy, marchand, chara, seids, boychuck, ference, mcquaid
Lucic - Krejci - Jagr - savvy told me dk and jagr would be a treat.
Seguin - Bergeron - Marchand - this line isn't going to be changed unless they stall hard.
Dogman - Peverley - Horton
Paille - Campbell - Thornton
The idea of kelly and yeti coming in excites me...
maybe I'm alone on this one but I couldn't care less if Soderberg comes over. he would be fine for depth but if everyone is healthy I wouldn't have him playing. the playoffs are still a war and I trust the guys we have over here now who have done it before.
It's amazing how much more formidable this team becomes on paper with the addition of Jagr and the return of Kelly. Whether it's Jagr or Horton on the 3rd line, they should be able to capitalize on some nice mis-matches.
