Theo Fleury made a (very respectable) career out of being the top scorer, the pest, and the guy who would start a fight with a scrub to fire the team up. It works very well if you're good at it.

I disagree and think other teams knowing he can hurt you in a fight adds an element to his game that the Canucks sorely lacked over the last few seasons let him fight now and then .
