Been a looong time since I've been this happy with a period by the Isles. Absolutely amazing from top to bottom. And Nabby is the best.

Great game. Must win game with the road trip coming up. Hope they don't put their foot off of the accelerator now.

If this team had been there on Saturday, it would have been a much different game.

Isles fans should not underestimate the skill, experience, and calming influence of Nabby.

He might be a top ton goalie in this league if on a much better team.

Fun game so far. Hopefully we get a 60 minute game from the Isles. We've seen solid 40 minutes of hockey from this team a lot last year but rarely a full 60

Moulson being out is a MUCH bigger deal to Isles fans than for your fantasy team.

Grabner and Okposo look really good. Grabner especially looks all around better than he was last season. Like he figured out how to utilize his speed better. Tavares looks like he is still trying to find his game a bit.

The difference in this game is that everyone is contributing. When it was just the JT line....we'd win once in a while, but when we all chip in, we win almost all the time.

It looks to me that Nabby is going to the butterfly more this year so far, I notice this because I LOVE his old school stand up style. He's been really good today and Saturday.

JT will be fine as well as the rest. One week practicing together means nothing. Unless you are in a game situation and playing against your farm team doesnt count, you dont get the same feeling or as pumped up. The farther we go they will all gel better and become more sinc

Grabner actually looks much better then his first year as well. he seems to be reading plays better(defensively)

As for Tavares that was a pretty sweet pass to Martin(I assume he wanted to do that since it was a fairly light pass)

Streit looks great. Grabner, wow. This is why we can't have these guys take time off.. They are RELIED upon. Grabner could be in line for a big year.

Tavares with two assists thus far.

Get the win for Nabby.

In this interview Moulson looks like he could be working a taco stand in Guadalajara.

Something I noticed about JT today, his ice time is way down from Saturday. He's almost at 12 minutes through 2 periods, he was like 25+ last game. He should be fresh for the 3rd period, but this is good. When we have 2nd scoring, it takes the pressure off of him and we don't have to wear him down.

I'm pathetic. Stuck at work, DVR'd the game. Really wanted to watch it without knowing the score or PBP. I caved after about a half hour and came here.

At least they are winning. Glad Okposo buried one. Going into the season most people were genuinely excited about his potential playing on that JT line. I don't think that should change much based on one game.

Good for JT getting a couple of helpers. BACK TO A PPG PACE!!! Hopefully he can put a couple more in the bank tonight(including a goal or two).

Unlike many others Grabner played 100% the last months with his hometown team. He was the star, but he worked great for the team, and he took the games in the Austrian League very seriously. This is why he's on full speed already

Give DP the start against Toronto and Nabby against the Bruins. Will need the best in nets against the Bruins
