It's because Glencross doesn't take draws.

If Hartley can convince this team to play with this kind of confidence we may not be painful to watch like that first period

Wow Baertschi. Could have possibly had a goal had Fowler not done what he did.

They seriously need to address the face-off issues.

I can't believe it's not butter.

Seriously, under Brent, the Flames almost never came back from multi-goal deficits.

Under Sutter the Flames rarely had multi shot shifts let alone scoring.

I think we are starting to see why Jokinen was let go, Hartley wants high IQ hockey smart quick passes that isn't Jokinen's strength.

Because under Brent, it was always "play D and the chances will come". With Bob, it's so much more clear that the Flames are not afraid to jump on loose pucks and take advantage of opportunities. They look like a completely different team (in that regard).

I didn't think of that; that actually makes a lot of sense.

Should make for some much more entertaining games this year, win or lose.

Wideman has been real good tonight, not amazing defensively but decent and he has created alot of offense.

Horak is quietly having a very good game is he still going to the Heat when Hudler is ready?

Well shots were along the lines of 16-4 for the flames this period, pretty good!

Flames now 22 for 49 in the circle after two periods. Much better in that regard too.

I believe that is the plan but we should be on the Heats top line and knowing our injury history he could be up real soon. I haven't like Stemps game tonight either he has been kinda ****** all over the ice.
