That sucks, and that was fast. Usually back injuries are sort of off and on. For him to already be done for the next 3+ months, that's crazy. Doesn't seem like just a muscle pull.

Nobody is just going to give the Kings a defenseman, or two for that matter. Interesting to see what happens from here.

Man, I hope Mitchell heals up quickly. Greene and Mitchell are such huge parts of our PK and the anchors of their defensive pair on even strength. Not to mention their leadership.

A Sabres fan on the trade board suggested Mike Weber for Brad Richardson. Seems like the type of trade that would make sense for both teams.

Think they were overrating Richardson tbh... didn't they want a player that can PK and play on the 3rd line with strong defensive responsibility? Thats Lewis not Richardson...
