As a Leaf fan I say no thanks. I wanna see what franson might do over a full season on our team with a real coach, lol.

Probably not what NYR need. Rynnas and Franson do nothing for the Rangers, they're way down on the depth chart

What I had in mind was having Franson on the second pair with either Staal or McDonagh (depending on if Torts reunites the old Staal/Girardi pairing) and Stralman moves down to the third pairing with Del Zotto.

Leafs need D not small speedy wingers. They already have Lupul, Kessel, Kulemin, MacArthur, JVR, Kadri, Komarov, Frattin on the wing.

This trade does nothing for the Leafs except put them short on NHL dmen.

We have enough defensemen actually, Gardiner is also due back this week and there's always Ranger who would an option in the summer.

Hypothetically, Hegelin would replace MacArther who's A UFA and could be moved at the deadline.

Something tells me that MacArthur is going to be a leaf for a while. I doubt they'd give him the A (somewhat a vote of confidence) and trade him. Especially since leadership is definitely hard to come by in Toronto.

SO the Rangers would give up 3 players for basically one player, because why would they need Rynnas? So it's more like Hagelin, Bourque and Eminger for Franson.

No thanks,

Both fanbases are going to argue over who's crap is better than the other teams crap. Somebody post a picture of a monkey flinging crap at another monkey and let us be done with this.

Meh. I'm okay with Eminger as the 6D, but I really have no idea why Torts keeps dressing Bickel. No reason to do this, LW depth is short and if this happens we have Pyatt at 2LW. Kreider is disappointing.

Yeah, Hagelin is worth way more than Franson. I'm not sure why the other pieces are in it.

No, no, no; no, no 1000x NO.

Hagelin has a bright future here and is a very valuable hard working player. Why are we panicking here? Yeah, I'll be the first to admit he aucked the first two games, but then again so did everyone else excluding Del Zotto, Nash, and Richards.

He hasn't even played his 3rd game of the season and we are already resorting to trying to dump a player for a #5 Dman and crap. We wouldn't even put him in a trade for Rick Nash just a mere 6 months ago....

God, HF never ceases to amaze me.
