Both our Vancouver teams having awful nights; though I think that break really ****ed up the Whitecaps. Reo-C has been incredibly brutal the past 2 games, perhaps being humbled will serve him better in the long-run. I was really hoping for Knighton to come in this game but oh well.
I think Cannon could have put a hand on both of those goals, but it's more disappointing that Chivas were allowed those chances. There were opportunities to bag more than one goal today, but it was ugly; disappointing loss... again.

When they finally woke up after the second Chivas, they put on some good pressure. Chivas just hustled us off the field in the first half whereas Whitecaps put no pressure on the ball. Very poor play thru the mid field. No development at all. Just relying on long balls from the back and maybe a bounce. Koffie did very little and Davidson remains tragic. Why Rennie insist on using Davidson is anyone's guess. Davidson is in a key position and has no where near the athletic ability to compete at this level. Looked absolutely lame on the own goal. Cannon rightly read Davidson the riot act a couple of times.
Overall Chivas was a much better coached and organized team.
Announcing is very poor. Main guy is ok but the colour guy is dead boring with his almost inaudible monotone and droning voice. Seems to have little of interest to say and sounds like he is doing a funeral. Whitecaps want to grow the game and the team, they need someone who can provided more zip and interest than this guy does.
All MLS teams play fairly bad on the road, it's one of the toughest leagues to win away from home.
I thought Cannon was alright, made some saves he needed to make. Miller had a good showing, brought some energy to the side. I saw an earlier poster complain about Manneh's touch on his chance.. but it was his speed which created the chance in the first place. Hurtado looked lively, got some ball control issues as well but seems like he will be a fantastic player to come off the bench. I thought Mattocks was absolutely amazing last night at holding up the ball, he seems to have figured it out in only one week. I can't wait to see how that translate in a home game when things are a little tighter around him. Davidson had a horrid game in my opinion. His give away lead to the first goal and he also had 2 other brutal give aways at the top of his box. His lack of ability to push the ball forward was evident in the 2nd half.
