It's hilarious how many people on here are targetting Bryzgalov for this putrid effort. They have nothing right now. Would you guys be happy if they lost all three games 1-0? The team stinks top to bottom, including this hybrid avoid-the-puck system they seem to be following.

Were I Laviolette, I'd definitely pull Bryzgalov right now. More often than not, a goalie gets pulled to make a statement to the rest of the team, not because the goalie has been awful. And this team needs to be slapped across the face.

Don't know why Bryz is being a target here considering the quality of goals against. Also considering our special teams play and offensive output has been far, far worse.

Umm you mean forwards? There are like 2 maybe 3 good D. The forward class is where it's solid. McKinnon, Barkov, Lindholm, Drouin, Monahan, etc etc.

I guess Voracek is angry. He should be, he ruined a PP.

All these pp we've had in the first three games and what do we have to show for it? A lot of passing and only a few shots. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take

Sounds good to me......I didn't expect too much this year so a lottery pick in a non-JVR like draft sounds just fine.

Its more like we just wish he would make a big save the team needs. I understand its not his fault Kovy scored on the PS, but the guy makes $6 million, is it too much to ask for him to make a save he shouldn't?

This is exactly what we went through last year. People expect more out of him due to his salary.

Seems to be what people don't understand. Especially in our division, losing a ton of games, especially in the beginning, can make or break the rest of the season.

Has Lavy even reviewed the play-offs tapes from last year?
He looks very lost.

the thing is that the first three teams we've played don't seem to be suffering from the lock out layover or the 6 day training camp at all.

I do not like seeing this from a Flyers team..........Someone has got to step up and drop em in a scrum like that............Very disappointing !

Normally I would agree with you on pulling Bryz, but Bryz has been fine, the game is still technically in reach, and our backup is Leighton. Combine those three facts and...yeah.

Even if he'd stood on his head and saved Kovy's penalty and stopped Rusty's deflection without his stick, it would still be 1-0.

I think he has made big saves. Could he make more? Yeah I'd say so. But this team gives up a high number of quality scoring chances. He made enough good stops to only give up 2 goals to Pitt. He stopped Vanek on a breakaway last game only to have Voracek fail to clear the puck. This team is bad at defense/has been unlucky. They'd have given up a lot of goals pretty much regardless of who their goalie was.
