I have good news! I did pick up some mayo from TOPS (btw some mayo's have high fructose corn syrup in them - it's an unnecessary ingredient so try avoiding purchasing it) and mixed it with an extra can of tuna. The tuna salad is now a lot better although the high concentration of horseradish sauce still causes that burning effect in my nose every couple of bites. It's a good recipe, but just make sure you get the mayo right. There's probably a better way to make tuna salad with a non-fattening, mayo replacement but in the mean time just make sure you do it right the first time.

Horseradish rules, we grow it in the back yard. The mellower Arby's type sauce is killer on hot dogs.

Two pages and no one's mentioned tartar sauce? That stuff's excellent. Next time use half the amount of tuna and half tartar sauce...goes well with fish.

Now the real debate, warm the tuna or eat it cold? I don't like cold meat, have to warm it.

Dammit...I was gonna say "ran out of mayonnaise, used Comet"

How did this thread get this far without the Comet joke? Lounge you disappoint me.

Horseradish is only good on deep-fried pickles.
