Are they? Do you mean in their prospect pool or in the NHL, because they certainly don't have a stacked NHL defense. I know very little about their prospect pool though.

I'm one of those that strongly believes that Nino would be a very good addition to our line-up. He plays a style that would flourish in our system and given that he's still relatively young, his development is not spolied as some say. He has lots of potential and I'm sure RS can offer Snow something that would make him bite such as Olli Maatta for example. He's expendable given the excessive amount of Ds we have in our system.

How about a guy like Matt D'Augostini on the Blues? He's a goal scorer, doesn't fit into the Blues system, and he'd be cheap as hell. Think we could get him for cheap and try him out on Sid's line.

Yeah, he's pretty much their only goal scorer. If we could get him it wouldn't be cheap.

Oh hey lets discuss this again...

Next up, trade Fleury, why does Shero keep drafting wingers, Bylsma sucks, why is Adams still here, etc...

Not even sure how the CBA is with the cap and what not, but I would love Perry on the Pens, depends on what he'd want on the open market and if he really wants to go with his buddy Ryan "Cul-D-Sac" Getzlaf. If they come as a package and we see this crap happening too much, then why bother.

I'd love to get Hornqvist on the Pens, he's one of those guys that could just explode like Neal did with Geno, but with Crosby.

Depends on what Nashville would want. I'd still like the Pens to keep Bennett.

The problem is every team in the league would love Perry. But if its possible, I am on board.

Question for the CBA people. I have heard rumors that teams will be able to talk with impending UFAs a week before the actual free agent frenzy signing date. Is that actually true? Because it would really make situations like Parise/Suter and potentially what will happen with Perry much more manageable. Teams won't need to miss out on other players when pursuing the top dogs due to the removal of the "race" to grab the players. But I have only heard it in random spots and never really anything official sounding.

I highly doubt Nashville is looking to give up goals. They never are and for good reason. If Bennett or a D prospect was almost certainly going to turn into a better asset than Hornqvist they probably would, but if that was the case we'd probably be hanging on to them.

I don't think so. Let's say you think someone like Bennett or a D prospect is going to be the better asset. You don't know for sure, but you think the odds reasonably favor that, in three or four years, Bennett will have more value than Hornqvist (or another player) now. Teams that want to win now still trade players like that.

Right but we aren't that team and neither is Nashville. Both teams are looking to compete now.

Toronto fan, I come in peace.

Nonnis would more than likely trade Kulie to the pens, but it will cost Shero.

- 1st Round Draft Pick '13
- 3rd Round Draft Pick '14
- Blueger

We should trade every 2nd round pick we ever have.

Jamie Benn for 10 years of 2nd round picks?

they already have Goligoski and Sneep, might as well throw in Veilleux.
