Rough at the start, got better. Get a PP goal early in the period and its a new game. Gotta stop giving up so many odd men rushes

Honestly, you can't say the Blackhawks played that well, the Blues were giving up odd man chances and they only cashed in on the 3 on 0. Hawks look good because the Blues are sloppy defensively; if the Hawks were looking good it'd be 3 or 4 to nothing by now. Expect this to be righted quickly.

The Blues started to outplay them at the end of the 1st. Hope it carries over.

The other teams they are being stacked up against are too complete for Chicago to be considered the #1 at this point.
The Hawks bottom six is weak in terms of secondary scoring. Overall, their depth makes them vulnerable in a short season when they have to play 12 back-to-backs. Blues are a better team, overall. Maybe not tonight, but by season's end.

Give the hawks some credit, they've played a strong game so far.

This post reminds me of Canadian fans after the WJC. The Blues are losing because they're not playing well AND Chicago is taking advantage. The talent on the Blackhawks is crazy and the Blues' defense is not respecting it.

Edit: And I don't think I'm liking this new, aggressive Pietrangelo.

I wonder when the whistle was blown there? Surely it was premature!

Panger, you can't say that whistle was premature. It was in Kieth's pads for 3 or 4 seconds. Every ref in the league calls that play dead.

I wouldn't say it was a bad whistle. It was unfortunate, but if the ref can't see the puck, what else is he supposed to do?

Wow, clear trip by Crawford isn't called, and Tarasenko gets called for one while he's laying down.

Wow...Keith holds the puck with his chin, whistle gets blown, and Tarasenko gets a tripping penalty. I really hope the Blues get some puck luck soon.

How can they call tripping on Tarasenko? He made no tripping motion. The Hawk's skate got tangled under him. They should just let them play.

A terrible call on Tarasenko and an early whistle which robbed us of a goal.

We're due for some positive karma.
