We look good, that Kane Olli combo is dynamite.

Kane is in beast mode. Pretty decent period for a "tired" team.

I liked the energy from the Jets today, they don't look tired at all.

I'm a little less concerned. The PP clicked and they scored more than one per game.

2 giveaways in the d-zone and that's about it. Otherwise, good period.

Very impressed with the Jets through one period.

With this being the 3rd game in 4 nights, it will be an uphill clim here through periods 2 and 3.

Let's Go JETS!!!

Well, that was an "exciting" period, to say the least. 2 more period - Go !

Really liked what I saw this period.

Solid defensive game. The dmen are still a little suspect, but the forwards are doing an amazing job backchecking. I saw a lot of chances diffused by forwards playing down low and picking up sticks.

Caps look like a one line team with a struggling goaltender, we must take advantage of this

I imagine Ms. Paulina Gretzky could spend some more time in Toronto should her father become Leafs President.

I'll keep my eyes on this story.

You'll have to answer to Dustin Johnson.

Adam Oates has faulty strategy. Why is Ovechkin going out against Hainsey and Stuart? If I was Oates, with the last change I'd make sure that the Ovechkin line always goes out against Clitsome and Postma

They play with a bit of "weight" now, as Chevy and Noel are fond of talking about. Loving that 1st line - they're looking pretty decent even though they don't really have chemistry with each other yet. That'll be a VERY hard line to stop if they can start clicking.

Good energy in the 1st.

Is Little still playing at RW?

If Scheifele does end up making the team and plays at center, I like our line up:

LWs: Kane and Ladd
Cs: Jokinen and Scheifele
RWs: Wheeler and Little

Noel can mix those lines however he wants, but along with USSR and STW, that's a deep line up.

Now just get Clitsome out of there
