Ottawa just sent Lehner down so there's no rush on Bishop either.
Also Ottawa doesn't really need scoring wingers either since we just signed Latendresse. Michalek/Alfredsson are both locks otherwise. Silfverberg is also going to get a long look on Spezza's line and unless he completely ***** the bed (and he's playing great so far) he's not going anywhere.
A temp D partner for Gonchar is the only real need
Just shop Bishop until you get the right offer. I don't imagine he'll be moved until the Trade Deadline, anyways.
Lehner just got sent back to the AHL, because he's the only one of Ottawa's 3 goalies who is waiver exempt. A victim of the "contract game" at the moment. We're in no rush to move Bishop, at least not in the next month or two.
He won't, if he was to be traded it would be when we KNOW for certain Lehner is the clear cut number one i.e not this year. Sens want to make the playoffs, and Anderson is a huge component to that.
Looking at the list of UFA and RFA goalies that are likely to hit the market this summer I can't say I'd offer too much at this point, rather wait and see what happens.
Way too many people on the Sens board proposing Anderson trades before the season starts. It's like they completely forgot how good he was for us last year. We finally have a solid GK, Lehner can wait.

not to mention does any team really want to go with two inexperienced goaltenders? The obvious path here is an anderson/lehner tandem for 2013-14. That would be the second-last year on andy's contract, and if lehner surpasses him, he will be very tradeable but also affordable to keep as a backup.
Bishop will be traded by the start of 2013-14. There is no rush at the moment. I'd imagine it would be quite easy to cash him in for the 2nd we traded for him last year (keep in mind the sens traded a 2013 2nd for him, so we could easily recover it now and effectively have had him for free for a year).
I think by the way Anderson has played over the last season and his seasons with Colorado, his name should be in the conversation as a legit #1 goalie and a decent one at that. During the playoffs against the Rangers, he stole a couple games the Sens shouldn't have won. Anderson's value would likely be a first and a good prospect.
Bishop will get moved eventually, Lehner has shown he is capable of playing in the NHL and likely to be a starter. Bryan Murray will play Bishop a lot down the stretch to raise his value and trade him to a team that desperately needs goal-tending depth (Oilers, Hawks).
Bishop's value right now is probably a good D prospect or draft pick.
Lehner is likely untouchable, and would cost an arm and a leg because of his high value to the Sens.
I really do not want Ottawa to move a goalie right now. Wait till the deadline until a team gets desperate and severely overpays, or wait until all three of our goalies are legit starters-which I don't think is too far in the future-and then make a trade.
But for the spirit of the thread, here's a not-so-serious proposal:
To Edmonton:
Craig Anderson, Mark Borowiecki, Guillaume Latendresse, Conditional First if the Sens make the playoffs, Second if not
To Ottawa:
Yakupov
Starting goalie problem for Edmonton is fixed. Latendresse brings a decent amount of experience to the Oil top 6 while not being too much of a downgrade, except in age. Boro isn't the best D prospect ever but is mid-level and could probably go to the NHL right now. The pick is just icing. Am I too far off?

Yes you are far off. While that will help our goaltending now, we give up a blue chip prospect. Quality > quantity. Our d just had a bad game Dubnyk can only be blamed for 1-2 of those goals. We'll keep our blue chip forward.
Bishop to highest bidder
or Anderson to whoever pays through their nose (1st line forward (or fringe 1st liner) or first pairing dman)
Yeah good luck with that.No one's paying anything good for Anderson. In fact I bet he'll garner the worst offers of any of your goalies.Decide which of Bishop or Lehner to keep and field offers for the other.
Anderson isn't going anywhere. Why would you even consider moving him? The guy has to be the most underrated goalie in the league.
You cant be serious!! Been watching this guy since jrs,he's good, not great and not the long-term answer for the Sens.Underrated ? Not by many, most know exactly what he is.Overrated ? Yes by homer fans who want to believe he's the man.(he's not)
I'll apologize on behalf of Sens fans for all the Bishop/Anderson trade proposals. We've never had this strange thing you call goaltending depth and we don't know what to do with it. Unless you can say over and over again for 20 years that having one guy with question marks is depth.
Doesn't make any sense to trade anybody right now. Murray can sit back for a bit and evaluate the season. No one wants Lehner to be stuck in the AHL but you don't unseat a guy that has proven to be a good #1 starter, especially when you've never had one. I don't hear a lot of chatter about the problem Florida has with Markstrom waiting impatiently for Theodore to falter. Instead it's the opposite, there's rumors of bringing in someone else with a ridiculous contact? I swear that 99% of trade rumors are figments of journalists imaginations or they read them here.
