Let's go with

Nyquist - Datsyuk - Flip
Franzen - Z - Brunner

Quincey has no concept of defensive position. I have seen Bantam players better at defense.

Sheesh, what the hell is in Jimmy Howard's water bottle?

Playing a phenomenal game for you guys, still very much anyone's game thanks to him!

Good luck in the 3rd.

Wings PP: Thank You for Not Shooting.

After that first goal Howards has really kept us in it. He's been great more most of this game.

The team is actually playing decent compared to the last two game.

Just these coaching decisions and lack of adjustments is hurting the players, IMO.

Then Lashoff got a good shot and we actually spent some time in the offensive zone. Take a breath, relax, and let's see how Pavs does when he's allowed to play center. He's been a Hart caliber player in the past, let's give him more than one trip to the offensive zone.

Howard is looking sharp tonight, but Datsyuk just doesn't seem to be himself. Roy is looking more like Dats right now. I expect that it's probably just fatigue from last night's game; I've never seen Datsyuk like this.

After such a wide open 2nd, I hope it doesn't turn into a boring defensive game in the 3rd. Regardless of who wins, if the 3rd is like the 2nd it will be a great finish. Good luck fellas.

Yep. Howard 1st star so far.
Better score some goals. Howard can't do everything by himself

I like Filppula and Datsyuk together, but hate that Cleary was there. He's a turnover machine and should not be playing in a top 6 role. He was a top 6 tweener 2-3 yrs ago, now he's just awful.

Right. Having Cleary in the top six is a fail.

Sorry to disappoint.

Should be 5-0 Stars right now, Howie's agent is liking how this game is going so far.

If I'm coaching the Stars, I'm telling them to deliberately commit penalties in the 3rd to go on the PK b/c the Wings PP SUCKS and they are getting glorious shots at shorties.

Hopefully the D/Z breakup moves on to the 3rd, need to set up Franzen for some shots and Nose needs to stay aggressive.

Smith looks better today, and bonus points for drilling Cleary on the PP point shot.

I am all for Datsyuk centering his own line.
Just weird him giving away so many pucks.
He is usually the best in takeaway giveaway ratio

This is probably the worst PP I've seen in a long time. Definitely the worst for the Wings. Maybe even in the league.

They need to help Howard out here. It's getting ridiculous. Spend some time in the Dallas zone and put pressure on Lehtonen. Looks like they split D and Z at the end of the period there, but they put Cleary and Filppula. Huh?

I know, it's mind boggling. Next game, even if splitting up D and Z leads to a win, they will be back together.

Babcock loves Cleary.

Cleary is usually go to guy whenever things are not going well or critical moment.

Babcock puts him on PP, PK, OT.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Cleary gets re-signed due to request from Babcock
