I'm tending to agree.

His decisions make absolutely no sense and he's getting out coached on a regular basis the last few seasons.

Can't discount the "playing with turds" factor. Funniest thing I've read all night!

Oh get off it. You guys make Babcock out like he is the worst coach in the league, when he is one one of the best hockey minds out there. Simple fact is that Nyquist played horrible in his opportunity early today on the second line and Babcock went with a guy who plays a net front game. Datsyuk, Filppula and Nyquist play the same style of hockey. They aren't going to work on a line.

I would honestly blow it up. 7/8 of our roster are band-aid plugs who are just competitive enough to keep us in games, but don't have enough skill or physical presence to get the job done. Why bother with players like Samuelsson, Cleary, Bertuzzi, Quincey, Colaiacovo? None of these guys are going to help us win a cup. I would be behind blowing it up and letting the kids play a ton of minutes.

Babcock can't weave flaming dog poo into a flying carpet.

I don't see that as a valid reason to can him.

Sure as **** doesn't look like it.

Then again people were actually assuming Cleary and Sammy are good players lol.
We have depth in terms of numbers. In terms of finishers we have none.

Cleary hasn't done anything since 2009 to earn a spot next to Datsyuk. But lets take out the kid who's scoring at a PPG pace in the AHL because he had one average period, which happened to be better than Cleary.

You meant "useless, ineffective net front game, including blocking point shots" right?

Take a pill.

Coaches run their course. Look at Hitchcock. Amazing coach but can't stay anywhere long. Tippet was great in Dallas and got run out of town.

Just because Babcock is a great coach doesn't mean he's the right fit for the team as it is. He's making questionable decisions and some don't make any sense. I'll give him the benfit of the doubt because he obviously knows more than anyone here, but it's ok to question what he's doing.

No need to get so upset.

And no, Datsyuk, Fil, and Gus make no sense. You know what does? Franzen, Datsyuk, Nyqust. Put Filppula with the guy he scored 65 points with last year on the wing? Make a little sense to you? Nah, didn't think so.

I can tell you that many players have started tuning him out. I think if we fail to make it past the first round he will be unfairly blamed

Now a days I just get happy when we make it through the neutral zone with the puck, or out of our zone
