I was looking at the schedules of the other teams around us in the standings and it appears to me that the Coyotes have had a much harder November. We played a lot of teams in the 30 pt club. Vancouver has fallen off the pace, but when we played them they were right there. Our "easy" game for the month is against Nashville. The other teams look to have had easier opponents throughout the month, getting to feast on teams from the East. Going 3-1-1 would make for quite the successful month. But I'd really like to see it 5-0-0.

The top 8 teams in the west (and in the entire league) are all within 2 points. Really need to beat the Quacks on Saturday.

So another former Coyote comes out to say Bryz was a locker room cancer during his time here.

Found this site: http://www.playoffstatus.com/nhl/westernsosag.html

They show the Coyotes as having the toughest played schedule of the division leaders so far. It also shows us having the easiest remaining schedule in the conference. Love to see us put the next 4 games in the win column. Don't play down to the opponent's level.

Reassuring to see, but we still gotta execute.

Wouldn't hurt if Smitty finally gets his 1st shutout of the season soon.

Watching the CAR-BOS game.. man does Carolina look bad, i simply can't understand how they have won 8 games this year. If they played in the west they would be worse then…… oilers.

While it appears getting to 1st overall in the NHL won't happen this season,, I'm more focused on getting into the playoffs.

Vancouver loses to Chicago tonight.
It would be nice if San Jose and LA would lose tonight as well.

The Coyotes would be #2 if they were in the eastern conference. Detroit moved to the east maybe we can move a few more teams to the east to make things a little easier. I propose Chicago moves so it can be back with Detroit. In exchange we will take Columbus back.

BTW: 4 of the 5 regulation losses have been to teams from California.

Pittsburgh outshot Toronto 17-0 in the 3rd to come back and win it in a shootout. I don't think I've ever seen a team fail to register a shot in a period before.

You must remember the Gretzky era, there were a few periods that we had 1 or 2 shots, and both of them were from center ice, just so we could register a SOG. But no, can't remember when a team failed to even get 1.

He is a great goalie. But inconstant. I kind of hope he does well, wish he wasn't in EDM though. He can only bail that team out so many times.

Agreed on Bryz's inconsistency.

He's a good goalie some of the time. Honestly I think his best career path is to be an NHL-level backup. He has talent. Is he mentally sound? No. Do successful playoff teams give their backup goalies much ice time? No. He slots into the backup role pretty well if you ask me.

Bryz lets in 4 goals through 2 periods and gets the hook.

Is it wrong to hope that the Oilers win just slightly enough to not clean house like they need to? I want to watch that... thing from afar. With popcorn.
