Cogeco Cable and Southern Ontario Problem with NHL Package

Last night I was settled in to watch theeeee home opener. Now I live in Southern Ontario near Sarnia. Guess what no game. OMG !!! So I phone my provider Cogeco Cable and they say it's blacked out. Keep in mind I have the NHL package and am suppose to get all the games except if there is actually no tv coverage. But last night I should have been able to see the Sens game. Also a friend who lives 20 minutes away had the Senators game on Bell. So my question is did anyone else have the Cogeco Cable problem last night?? Thanks
Also a special thank you goes out to the poster last night who had the adthe or whatever the site was and that meant that I actually got to see the last half of the game.

Sadly it happens from time to time. Usually issues with the feed. Mine came back halfway through the 2nd.

Thanks. Is Cogeco your provider too?

so to clarify, you live around sarnia (leafs territory) and have nhl center ice from cogeco. Correct?

If this is true, you being blacked out is cogeco or sportsnet screwing up.

I live just outside of Toronto, and I settled in to watch the game at 7:30 as well, and was greeted by the Leafs game on the channel the Sens game was supposed to be on! Also, the Leafs game was on it's normal spot on SN-Ontario. I even called them and they said that they would send a message to Center Ice, but nothing changed. I ended up just watching a stream.. Very angrily watching a stream.

I'm also with Cogeco, by the way.

I feel your pain. I hope it doesn't happen again and that it was a one time situation. I think I almost blew a gasket. I too watched it on a stream but the game was almost half over.

I got a phone call from Cogeco. They admitted it was their mistake and not a black-out and I will be getting one free month of the Sports Package.
