Such a dirty one to concede. At least Holtby gifted one straight back

This game is just as insane back and forth scoring wise as ours last night. 2 quick ones by the Pens just now.

and sadly, it seems to have pissed the penguins off. They just scored 2 in a row.

4-2

Holtby is going to be yet another example of why you don't pencil someone in as a potential number one because they played a handful of good playoff games the year before.

The Caps need to blow things up - their window to contend is long gone.

If only Washington had a star winger to carry them here

Agreed. And that Ovie contract looks nasty, 9.5m salary / cap hit for years. Yikes.

I was never sold on Varlamov and Neuvirth either. Their goaltending has been meh for quite a while.

I wonder if Marcus Johansson would be a fit with the Ducks?

Lol Karlsson just gave Cole the easiest goal of his career. Horrendous PK coverage. And these Sens fans are desperate to make us think he can play D.

Boycotting any NBCNHL games this year. Especially that garbage heap of a forced Pittsburgh-Washington rivalry.

As much as Ovechkin has declined, he's been all over the place tonight. He just can't finish his chances and when he is in good scoring position his decision making has been questionable.

They are the most complete team in the league, so much talent in st louis, i think perron is one of the more underrated players in the league, he has rediculous hands.

Oh and parros scored today, always a treat.

I love when Georgie scores. He was an assist away from a Gordie Howe hattrick.

God yes, I do remember, but he was not anywhere "cream of a very dismal crop".
My favorite memories of him are, shooting the puck straight into an opposing forward's shin pads, then standing flatfooted as they skated by him on a breakaway. God bless him.
Then yelling at Carlyle, and our bench, that first game in Edmonton. Silly little Whitney.

Last 5 games for Justin Schultz: 0 points. But...but...but...he'll be scoring at a 60 point pace this year!

Must be frustrating to be an Oilers fan. They are stacked with offensive firepower (seven 1st rounders, the majority being picked top10), but their defense is still garbage.

I'm watching NHL Tonight. On it they said, "(this is a low scoring, Boudreau-coached team, and they aren't afraid to play in low scoring games.)"

There are only 4 teams with more goals than us.
