This concept of the Stanley Cup confuses and infuriates me!

Either have an elite goalie and play a stubborn defensive game, or get legitimate depth at offense. Even though Niemi won the cup, he's still the worst goalie to win the cup in god knows how long. Relying on his "cup winning" abilities is for the absolute optimists. In regards to forward depth, Handzus and Gomez won't be unlocking any doors with their declining play.

If we use two games to deem the top six just fine, we should also use those two games to deem our third line a disaster.

I like handzus as a depth forward, bring him in against slower teams and use his big body and save some PK minutes. We need a player that can really drive possession, like gomez. tj/wingels can score, but they need an anchor that can move defenders and generally be a pain to mark, and open up lanes.

4th line is great, our second tier PKers need work but we polish those up and sign gomez and i think we have a better shot than we did last year.

1. Luck
2. Health.
3. Maybe a good third liner depending on if Gomez works out or not.

speed.

although their break-outs and zone entries do look better this year, ideally we still want some more speed on the roster.

Hopefully Gomez can help out the third line and get some scoring done. Wishful thinking but he can't be worse than Zeus

A new GM to finish the job with some ridiculous, cap-circumventing contracts.

Theme, every team has some odd theme that carried them to the cup. We have until the playoffs to find it. "The Theme" is our mission Sharks fans.

Nothing.

This is one of the greatest hockey teams ever assembled. With Burns back in the line-up, probably THE best team ever assembled.

A better PK and to stay healthy. With the signing of Gomez and when Burns and Demers get healthy, I think our roster is more than adequate to win a cup.

So did the Sharks find all the pieces of the pendant yet?

I wanted to be on G.U.T.S. so bad and dominate that agrokrag. Double Dare was also another one of my favorites. That obstacle course was great trying to find all those red flags in nasty crap. I can't count how many times I entered.

Mike O'Malley would destroy Marc Summers!

My friend and I were the Blue Barracudas two years ago. Guy/girl duo with the gold helmets and everything. Randomly ran into a Silver Snake at the rave we went to. It was pretty epic.

More on topic, I'm most worried about the Sharks scoring depth. Hopefully Gomez helps?

Seriously though, Niemi has only given up a single even strength goal. If we can get the penalty kill worked out, the only problem we'll face will be scoring depth and the Blues.
Huskins isn't on the Blues anymore, so the Blues won't be a problem

We need scoring depth, stated another way a 3rd line that can score.

Burns back off IR and a healthy team for the most part.

A top 10 PK and PP.

Lots of luck and for the hockey gods to smile on is...

Number 1 was Robinson's answer when asked at the STH's meeting

Hee did expound, but I'm mobile.
