Anyone know the lines for tonight?
Just wondering who we are going to be icing against the Nucks tonight?

I sure hope to see some "legit" line combos to get an idea where things are at.

So here we are less than 2 hours from game time, and nobody's heard what the lineup will be?
Guess I'm just hoping it'll be a bit more of a competitive game, need information!

We should see lines much closer to the opening day lines tonight.. the Oilers have cut down their roster significantly over the week and I'm hoping we'll finally see a line of Isbister - Smyth - Hemsky out there!

Stauffer had a nice interview just now with Billy Moores on his show today. iho Conklin, Bergeron, Luoma, Torres and Salmelainen have stood out.
Moores also said Rita has the ability to shoot the puck and get it on the net, but hasa to win more one on one battles.
As for the lineup, I imagine Rita won't play a third game in a row, Staios likely won't play, Horcoff and Moreau might get the night off.
Should be a pretty veteran laden lineup for the first home game.

Shorty & Larsh are a couple of the better announcers. Pretty fair all around imo.

Ah hah....our wishes have been granted.
Isbister - Smyth - Hemsky on one line.
1-0 Oilers on goal by Hemsky, assist Isbister, Smyth.

I'm listening to the radio (CHED). Luoma made a nice outlet pass on the goal, but from the sounds of things had a pretty bad shift just now.

I hate all you Edmonton-dwellers.. I'm stuck in Calgary where 630 CHED comes through like a snowstorm! Oh well, i'm still glad to see Hemsky score.. at least nhl.com's Scoresheet is updating relatively fast!

The Oilers seemed to pretty much own that period, except for the odd WCE shift...

Like the other guy said....
Go to
www.cknw.com
CKNW
Then hit "Listen Live!". You'll get the broadcast with only about a minute of delay. It's a Vancouver feed but it's all good.

So why does McTavish have only 29 guys on the roster right now? Isn't he kindof concerned about playing his stars too much..then again you guys only have about 5 pre-season games left.

Me too, man. The pain and suffering we have to go through is unheard of.
