Benton Fraser................

We've gone down this path before.....I think there's only a handful of players from the past pre-1967 that could compete with the modern day NHL stars and the Rocket is one of them.....some of the others I feel that you can include on that list have already been drafted like Bobby Hull, Bobby Orr and Gordie Howe.

Cheers!

I tihnk in a situation like this where we are drafting players from so many different eras, you have to place them all on a level playing field and consider either how good these guys were in only their individual eras or give the older guys the benefit of the doubt and assume that with modern training methods technology and a bit of size, they'd be better.

Monkey picked Richard. Its Bergeron47 turn and he seems like more of a night time poster.

The Ottawa Silver Seven choose defenceman Doug Harvey.

The Silver Seven couldn't turn this defenceman down for a number of reasons. He's 2nd only to Bobby Orr for Norris Trophy's (7). Harvey's a 10 time 1st Team All-Star, a 6 time Stanley Cup winner, and have attended 13 All-Star games.

I propose starting next round a 12 hour limit tops. This is getting rediculus.

I think that the person with the #15 pick was kind of reserved a spot and didn't want to get involved. I sent him a PM but I also saw that he never OKed his involvement and hasn't posted in a while. I then PMed Benton on what to do and he said that it would be best to skip him. So I PMed Vic to go next and the balls in his court now.

I have to agree with you though. The time limit should be cut back. I understand that people live in different time zones, have different life styles, and maybe just want to have some time to think about their draft choice but 12 hours is more than enough.

Mountain.
I think 12 hours is just fine as you only need to be at a computer twice a day.

The New York Rangers will continue its fine tradition of selecting elite defensemen, and its disgusting tradition of selecting former fishsticks:
