On the OTHER hand, Dater is always wrong. Seems like a battle between the inept and the idiot...who will win??!?

Ginner will produce with either Staz or Dutchy; I'm not too concerned. His speed and shot will generate opportunities for anybody who gets him the puck. Not really concerned about that.

Yep. I think by now we have a good idea of who McGinn is. A physical top 6 winger that has a good shot. He plays a style that will open up the ice for the skill players and he isn't afraid to go to the dirty areas to get goals. He will produce no matter who is his center.

I want to see what Landy can do on Stastny's line though. I think that is a better fit, and that he will make that whole line a lot better.

Now that Staz is actually playing hockey, yes.

Staz was apparently also crap last year, and then picked up his game after we acquired Ginner. It's not a coincidence that Jones was also playing well. The start of this year, both Staz and Jones were/have been slacking. Ginner just plays a simple enough game that he is always going to make an impact out there. Sherman was completely right in coveting the player for years, there is untapped potential there and we're seeing it now; big, fast, strong, powerful shot. Great work ethic. That's key.

Yup absolutely agree. I was more alluding to the obvious lack of chemistry between Duchene-PAP and Lando in the 4 games to start the year, more than anything else. McGinn has proven to be effective with either guy and since the Duchene line is doing well, the OBVIOUS MOVE would be to add Lando to Stastny's line (a luxury Stastny HAS NEVER HAD as of yet). [I know that's what I would do]

But like I said, I'm not sure Sacco is going to do it. I think he's going to mess up the chemistry with BOTH lines by adding Lando to Duchene's line and moving McGinn back down with Stastny cuz you know, that's how he rolls.

Like Landy he wins a lot of puck battles with his speed and tenacity too. When the puck squeaks out to Stastny with time and space. he and Jones benefit from this a lot.

His hustle is infectious too. Really seems to pick the guys up, like when McLeod has a good shift.

Landeskog should be playing with O'Reilly when he gets back

Even if Ryan where back I'd rather give Landy a shot with Staz, Landy would rile up Staz and jones and Staz would set Gabe up like he's never been set up before

Well, here's some good news. Landeskog in normal practice sweater skating on the left side w/ Stastny and Jones. Good stuff.

Oh come on h24....

Sounds good. Sacco puts him on the correct line. Let's see if Hejduk is fit or is Sgarbossa getting some playing time on the 3rd line (or 4th). Or then Palushaj is just getting bumped to the 3rd.
Difficult decisions and Sacco is going to get them wrong. He already got his one good decision this week by putting Lando with Staz.

Has been tried. Worked for like 1 or 2 games, but then it kinda cooled down.

I expect Palushaj to be on the 3rd line. I don't think he will work well with that line either.

Interesting, I hate to keep talking about ROR but I wonder how Sgarbossa would do on that line with him and Lando.

Guessing there's a decent chance Landy will play against the Kings.

Isn't Hejduk hurt tho?

Sounds like there's a good chance Landy will be back in the lineup soon.

The one thing that may hurt that line is that Jones doesn't really win many board battles or even compete in general. The reason Landy, Downie, and ROR were so good was because Downie and ROR won a lot of board battles and Landy fought for space and got open for shots. Still excited to see Landy and Stastny though, should be instant chemistry.
