We win and we're at .500. That's all we need to stay around until we get healthy and then we can raise expectations.

Not having a full training camp and preseason has hurt this team and others. The Rangers, my pick to win it all, finally won their first game of the season and they're completely healthy.

I think it's okay to be concerned but like you said, we can turn things around quickly at home and keep a shot at the playoffs in sight.

I love that picture! Absolutely hilarious!

The Panthers will have to come out flying. No more slow 1st periods, which they've had over the last two games and seems to set the tone for the remainder of them. Guys from the top two lines need to step it up. Anderson is possible to be solved.

They just have to find a way to do it and throw him off his game early. Theo's going to have to have another outstanding game. I can't blame him for the loss on Monday, but who knows how well the defense will show up.

On another note, I'm not sure why Dineen is scratching Strachan again. I know Jovo is back in the lineup, but with Ellerby making some mistakes in the last two games, why not have him sit instead?

Ugh.....That doesn't sound like a good idea at all.

Shore is on the third line with Matthias and Upshall.
SO glad Kovalev is off that line. I think he could actually hinder Huberdeau's development. Not saying Kopecky is all that great but anybody other than Kovalev, I'm fine with that.

So we know the lines are gonna be (correct me if I'm wrong there):

Fleischmann-Weiss-Kovalev
Huberdeau-Mueller-Kopecky
Matthias-Shore-Upshall
Parros-Smithson-Skille

Any word on defensive pairings? Here's what I'm thinking its gonna be:

Campbell - Jovo (since he's rested)
Kulikov - Weaver
Kuba - Ellerby

For everyone's sanity, a great effort is required tonight. If they want to have a poor effort, at least win. We got some playoffs, we want more! go Panthers!

Another game I'm most likely going to miss.......

Expecting a win tonight, as always. Anderson & Ottawa sure know how to play against us tho...

Hopefully I'll wake up and see that we won, GO PANTHERS

We gotta be in Andy's face without interfering with him. He gets rattled easily.

Kopecky should go nice with Mueller and Huberdeau. He's fast and hard on the boards and generates turnovers. Draws penalties and gets nasty in the corners and after plays.

I don't think I've ever seen the word fast and Kopecky in the same sentence before.

I say this is the darn awful truth: The lazier and less physical you play as a team the more injuries youre prone to have. The panthers have been the posterchild for this theory.

Well, at least we know he's likely been playing injured. Hopefully it isn't too serious.

Our top 9 is pretty much decimated.
