With Hitch being so sparse with outward praise of individual praise of any player, I'm interested to see redden play. I know a little about him not workin out for New York, but Hitch seems pretty up on this guy. And so far, I trust coach. He might be a steadying presence on the blue line. (crossing fingers) & that's never a bad thing to have.
also: I see the deadwings have two of our old d-men on the roster now, they picked up K Huskins. way to go wings.
I'm going to say the key to this game is discipline. If the Blues can establish their aggressive forecheck early, there's no doubt in my mind that we'll receive a majority of the calls...Nashville should have 2-3 interference penalties.
I think we'll see a much more consistent commitment to controlling the puck in the offensive zone, a return to basic principles, after that embarrassing Chicago game. If so, I tink the Blues win this one by a couple goals.
Whooohooo!!! I have a guy who is one of the ice managers as a buddy, I call him the "ticket fairy" for years He's given me awesome seats for free. I was a little unsure on how the new ownership was gonna "freebie" the employees. But the "ticket fairy" just visited & I'll be sportin my tarasenko jersey right behind the (hopefully full of predators) penalty box!!

Now all you need is a beer fairy and you're all set...
It will be interesting to see how Redden plays. If a guy like Petro can come in and look rusty as hell like he's been these last 3 games, what's a guy like Redden going to look like missing 33 months of NHL hockey. Hoping he looks alright.
I like this rivalry more than the Wings or the Blackhawks. Maybe because it's relatively new, but it seems like these games are always intense and incredibly close. We match up with each other really well. I hope we can get a regulation win. I hate giving points to another team, especially in the division. Let's go BLUES!!!!
I want to see at least 2 periods of the smart disciplined hockey we became accustomed to last season. If we can get that and the other 20 minutes are not completely horrid we should get a win against a good opponent tonight.
