So a prospect on the verge of busting , who is asking for a trade while not even playing a full season in the NHL , and has put up horrible numbers for a future top 4 dman , maybe even top2 , who put up 30+ points in his first season ... No.
I thought he'd be interesting, but how in the **** do you only get 1 points in 55 games?
You get put on the 4th line with terrible linemates and no ice time.
The way the Isles have handled him has been atrocious. He has put up great numbers in the AHL. Guy will be a top six winger with potential 1st line upside. I would definitely be interested in acquiring him.

36 points in the AHL THIS YEAR. only 20 years old, 2 years younger than kadri.
6-2 over 200 pounds
looks like he will better than kadri.
nino-kadri- jvr
2 big wingers that can score,
future.
Probably not much. The guy basically proved last year he could not play in the NHL and wants a trade to play in the NHL. I doubt many teams want to a chance on him.
If the Isles are looking to trade him (Snow said he isn't), then I'd definitely be interested. I'm not sure where to put his value though given the circumstances.
Niederrieter is an example of why the Islanders are such a mess. He was no where near ready to play in the NHL last year but instead of sending him down to junior, they played him limited minutes on the 4th line. I think he has a ton potential if he could just get away from New York.

he played 4th line minutes, islanders have ruined him
Fine player but the Leafs should NOT be interested. No use in spending assets on another winger. If it's for 2 2nd round picks or something of that variety sure, but I doubt that's what the going rate will be

Might want to do a bit of research there. 36 pts in 39 games in the AHL at the age of 20...you really can't ask anything more of a prospect.

I can understand a lack of production for such a reason, but to this degree?
Occasionally a puck will find it's way into the net, two passes later after you've gone to the bench, a point shot that hits your body on the way in... something. Even if you tried to not get any points, you should get a couple somehow.
