I don't disagree with you there. This has been a terrible match up for us even when we had 3 lines last year in the regular season. The Bruins literally had to show up for one period last year just to beat us. They also started their back up Khudobin, and saved Rask for us for tomorrow night.

By the way do we even have two lines? Kovy, Zajac, Zubrus, Patty, Clarkie. Woof.

Nah, left my Devils garb at home.......unfortunately my Parise jersey is now buried in my closet somewhere near my Gomez jersey and Shawne Merriman Chargers jersey.

Actually ended up picking a Coyotes practice jersey for $20 at a local Marshall's the next day (I'll use it when I play goalie, a blank Reebok practice jersey goes for $30 normally). When I went to Royal Rumble the next day, there were a couple guys in the 2nd row wearing Brodeur and Lidstrom jerseys.

Really we are going to get down before the game even starts? Canes just came back within one and are having their way.

Edit: Tied the game now

If I counted right, teams are 18-8-3 when their opponent played a game the night prior.

The Bruins are a joke tonight. Give up 2 goals in under a minute to the Nascar's. Of course they got their backup in tonight too.

The Hurricanes!

The Bruins were 0-4-0 against them last year, and were outscored something like 16-4.

Dougie Hamilton looks like a player. How many picks after Larsson?

If anything, the law of averages has to work on our side there.

Did Boston lose anyone from last season aside from Thomas?

No I don't think so, but they've been crap against the Canes since all last season. Remember when they scored 3 shorties in a row on the same PP against them?

They had a shorty tonight, but couldn't get the other two!

He went 9th overall.

He has been nothing but impressive so far in his rookie year. Not only points wise, but he has logged a ton of ice time for a rookie defense man so far and has appeared to be a huge upgrade on our PP.

He is what the Bruins needed, big mobile d-man that can actually shoot the puck accurately, he is such a difference for us on the PP. He has surprised everyone so far, his overall game has been smooth so far and I hope he continues.

Corvo, Thomas, Pouliot out.

Hamilton, Khudobin, Bourque in.

Bourque will hopefully get demoted though, he has shown nothing yet at the NHL level to justify him being on our team. Our whole board hates him so far, he doesn't really do anything at all.

Who steps in for Bourque?

Probably Jay Pandolfo, he's been skating with the Bruins and is in Providence now for conditioning stints.

Either him or a prospect like Jordan Caron or Ryan Spooner.

I can't imagine Pando has anything left in the tank. He was brutal with us and on the Isles.

What a pass on krejci's GWG I remember Bobby Mac saying scouts hinted that his ceiling could be higher than larssons. Either way though, makes it even more frustrating that larsson is sitting in the stands.

I remember saying that I would contemplate taking him over Larsson. I was very high on him around the draft. He's got everything you want in a defenseman. Larsson might end up better defensively but I can see DH putting up 50pt seasons.
