Loved how the Sens announcer was like "Silfverberg to the net... save... and a goal scored by... Karlsson?! I have no idea what he was doing down there".

Well, yeah, nobody does.

Melrose is still convinced the Rags are going to turn it all the way around. Well with the messiah potting two tonight maybe we should all start shaking in our boots. Do the Isles have a "I scored my first goal on Nabakov" thread on their board?

Nabby gave up the first goal to Gomez too to break that long drought!

Melrose gets dumber every year. Rangers have no forward or defensive depth, Minnesota has no defense outside of Suter.

Just watched Daniel Sedin toss Zach Parise around like a rag doll on Vancouver's first goal tonight...

Ugh I am in the middle of a facebook argument with Rags fans over this. They are convinced they are only a bit thin at defense, but Kreider and Miller make them a pure 14 foward deep team (which still makes them a 3 line team, not a 4 line team so I don't even) and the Nash trade was brilliant and he is doing all the little things apparently. Nash doesn't cherry pick anymore, and they signed Pyatt so all is well. O_O

Kreider bursted on the scene last year and besides one gorgeous snipe against us, he's been non-existent in every game this season. JT Miller isn't anything special, IMO. If they want to believe both kids are future HOF-ers, let them.

I remember when Stepan scored a hat trick his first game. Most notable thing that guy has done in his career. He's the Rangers whipping boy right now.

His logic wasn't terrible. His problem was the team(s) he picked using that logic. He picked one team that was very successful last year and seemed to have improved (the Rangers), so that's fine. His logic on the Wild was that they added some fresh faces, who are notable contributors for any team at that, and that in a shortened season you just need to get hot and get on a run into the playoffs. From there he went with the anything can happen angle. The concept works, but the Wild are not the team to use it on. He was still overrating their overall talent and tried to make them this year's LA Kings.... Guess not.

Same ol' story, new guy bursts onto the scene, Rag fans go nuts and overrate the crap out of him, he doesn't play up to their expectations, and he becomes the scapegoat.

And he is their 2nd line center. What I don't get. Even if we pretend that Miller and Kredier will be consistently good, you still have a line of Asham, Boyle and Halpem. What does that do? Stephan is your #2 center? Yuck. I haven't really sat and looked at their starting lines like this, but god it isn't pretty after the 1st line. They are so top heavy. Also I don't buy that Nash hasn't cherry picked once as a Rag. Ugh sorry venting a bit, these arguments are just so annoying.

So Miller is probably a Calder favorite in every Ranger fans eyes. That fan base gets a real hard on for any new face that scores a goal. No matter how unimpressive.

Wild look like **** right now. They need a lot of work to become a contender. Sadly for them they got all their money tied into those two ****in idiots, and they're in cap hell. I figure they'll buy out that corpse Heatley this Summer or next.

This is going to become a meme on this board whenever anybody asks why we did something crazy. I'm ok with this.

He was definitely cherry picking during our game against them, I don't know what they are talking about.
