Not sure where to put this, but during the hot stove Friedman brought up the possibility of Clarkson on the Canada Olympic team. That would be amazing.
They've got like 8 "locks" then went around the panel to see who each person would add. PJ thinks Marchand, Weekes says J.Staal, then Friedman said Clarkson.

I was watching that as well. It's an interesting proposal. If he keeps up this play through this season and into next year leading up to selection time he will get some consideration.. The guy has busted his ass to get where he's at right now. Very impressive...
Do Leafs fans claim to have a sea of blue in Mtl tonight on every message board?
They have about the same amount of fans there tonight as the Rags brought to The Rock this week.
I think it's pretty much only Rags & Philly fans who like to claim "seas" in opposing rinks.

That would be kind of absurd. Can you imagine the Rangers fans' reaction if Clarkson made Team Canada? Can you imagine Marty's reaction?
I don't like to sound like an attendance watching ******, but aren't Islanders games normally around that?
Maybe my sarcasm detector is broken?
Leafs putting a beating on the Habs, 6-0 now. Makes me laugh when a week or so ago there were a lot of overly optimistic Habs fans chirping the Leafs.
No, pretty sure the LIE was closed today. Not even sure if the LIRR was running. They got 2-3 feet of snow out there and lots of people without power. Most people probably didn't want to go to the game at that point.
We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Alexei Yashin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.
