Just got back from the game.

I hate our fanbase so much - the people that sit in the stands and chirp the team endlessly are the biggest morons imaginable. If these people had it their way, every shot would be taken no matter how poor it is, players would be traded for making one bad play, and players should be benched if their shots go off the opposing defensemans stick.

-player doesn't shoot-
"Shoot the puck, you idiot!"

-player shoots but deflects into netting-
"What was that? Learn to hit the net, you bum!"

It was ugly yes, but not "Let's go Blue Jays" four games into the ****ing season ugly. It's no surprise that no free agents ever want to come here. God almighty.

/endrant

Anyways - Kadri & Frattin were fantastic. Kulemin was still looking like Kulemin from last night with hard hitting and takeaways - unfortunately Grabo had a pretty bad night. Turnovers at the neutral zone and the blue line is what cost us. Kessel was noticably bad on the ice - him and MacArthur don't work.

No amount of Leafs losing can bring me down!

Not now that Brian Burke and Ron Wilson are fired (2/2 on my hit list) and we have our own first round pick!

I'm giving this team another 5 seasons to be competitive (a la Bruins, Rangers, Pens, Kings, Blues, etc.) and if we're still a basement team I'm done.

I said it before the start of the season and I'll say it again... Franson and Mac need to be packaged at the deadline. Neither of them are GREAT at anything and their combined value should bring us back 1-2 picks to give us flexibility at the draft. They are not going to help this team in the present, nor in the future.

Sum it up, Scrivens was weak and the team ran out of gas.

teams love beating the leafs at home..but it didn't feel like a homegame with that crowd tonight.

Let's hope this is a dumb move by a young team and they can learn from it.

2 wins 2 loses, long way to go.
plus there was a big missing piece tonight.
This is 4 years of MacArthur on ice play I'm talking about and used the reference of these 4 games and each line he's played on this year as the trend that has gone on for 4 years they struggle to sustain an offensive cycle with any consistency.

That he has the "A" as much as I don't care for it he's a stand up guy with character kind of like Komisarek it means nothing if he's going anywhere or not nor does it speak to him as a player. The one who isn't going anywhere is Phaneuf. Mac on the other hand I will be shocked if he's still a Leaf after this years trade deadline never mind re-sign with the Leafs.

It's vs Lundqvist on Saturday. We play a respectable game, win or loss won't matter to me. I just hope for a better showing than tonight. A team as weak as the Islanders shouldn't have been able to blow us out that bad no matter how "tired" we may have been. That was just purely disappointing.

It's just a game. A game that has no impact on any of us.

Just sit back, observe, develop a hit-list of bums who need to be fired/traded/demoted and tell everyone you can about it.

Oh and watch St. Louis!

Oh yes. Pietrangelo's going to be something, if he isn't already.

see what I am afraid of and of my luck. I will stop liking the leafs if this keeps up in 4 years and then when I switch teams (or attempt) the leafs will win the cup with Crosby ovechkin and karlsson on d.
