If the Devils had that first, coulda grabbed Kuznetzov. I guess we got an alright Russian with that first, though.

I would love to see Josefson break out in a major way.

Not to mention the inaccuracies. That AHL stiff also outscored your captain last year FYI.
Rangers fans confirmed for mad.

Their inability to accept Clarkson as a legitimate talent is amusing to me. If he was on their team, they'd be fawning over his toughness and work ethic and blue collar roots like they do for Callahan. But because he's a Devil, he must be an AHL scrub.

If we keep winning, and there have been no trades or injuries, I'm fine with Larsson continuing to sit.

Oh man, you guys win... Not only is Ovi playing with Beagle and Crabb, Schultz is playing with a rookie on our third pair, and Erskine with Carlson.

Stream for the game, though it's the Caps broadcast. I'm gonna see if an MSG one pops up later on.
Stream

Edit: Now it's changed to the MSG broadcast. Hooray for Steve and Chico

Interesting lines. Can you translate the rest of the numbers? I don't feel like digging out a Caps roster right now.

I don't mind Larsson sitting until he starts to mind. Usually you can sift through politically correct team oriented quotes and get a feel of uneasiness. Larsson still sounds optimistic and genuine when he says he wants to play but understands it's not his turn yet.

Ya, I think Larsson is still positive about his role on the team. I'm not worried about him getting impatient. He knows he will get a chance.

I am really not a fan of this. I really think that Larsson is someone who should've been in since day 1. Relying on a loss or an injury to bring in our potential #1 d-man doesn't seem smart. If that's the route, use harrold as the extra man and send larsson down to AHL to keep playing. Only thing I can think of that could possibly explain this is that they are showcasing either tallinder/volchenkov and when the trade happens larsson will have a permanent spot.

Gate sighting at the end of the pre-game.

Also, is MSG saying that the game blacked-out for anyone else?

Backstrom, Wolsi, Mojo on the 2nd.

Ribeiro, Ward, and Chimera on the third.

Not blacked out in Central Jersey.

Heard MSG had a blackout issue last game too. Game was blacked out by mistake.

He should be forced to breath the air that Scott Stevens breaths out.
He should be duct-taped to Stevens at all times.
He should be forced to repeat every word that Stevens utters, as if an echo.

I don't care if he sits for 48 this year, as long as he is getting personal one-on-one lessons with #4.

That third line does worry me a bit. Chimera has speed, Ribeiro is a good playmaker, and Ward has grit. Could be a tough match up.

The second line is very skilled too. I guess Oates is trying to spread the scoring threats throughout the lineup.
