Well, Eddie O wasn't wrong. Most stars do embellish, and he's right that it won't stop because no referee will ever call a dive.

Also love how the refs/linesmen just ignored the fact that Malkin put the puck right into the netting just before Crosby's breakaway opportunity.

Well in his defense the net attacked him first and if it doesn't want to have a puck shot at it, the net shouldn't do that to Malkin first.

I didn't see Stamkos diving around all over the ice yesterday. Nor do I see Tavares whining and crying when we play the islanders.

That's what I first thought, but backed it up and played it a few times. The voice sounded very close to Emrick's, and there was a pause between the YEAAAH! and the SCORE!

Nothing would surprise me with NBC and Pittsburgh.

Yep pretty much. I just used JT and Stamkos because they've been dubbed as future superstars since their childhood. Tavares was granted special permission to play in the CHL at age 15, for example. All of that attention didn't turn them into whining divas.

E. Staal dives like a champ. He taught his team well in that regard.

Otherwise, I agree. Hell, our stars don't dive. Never seen Nash, Richards, or Gaborik take a dive.

Exactly. I've never seen them low-bridge, slew-foot, and use their sticks as tomahawks either. There are ways to respond to a little extra attention besides throwing a tantrum like a 7-year old who just had their ball taken away.

But we are all just "biased Pens haters".
