Wtf has anyone done to deserve 1st PP time? The PP stinks. Let's try something different.

Need that Yak celebration at center ice as my wallpaper. Anyone quick enough to get it? I'm sure it'll be up somewhere soon, that was just .... oh my...

Don't. You'll get an infraction for celebrating the Oilers. I got one last night for something similar.

What a fun game. I am way too excited to post any in depth thoughts.

I will just say that Gagner, Yakuov, J. Schultz, and Dubnyk all had very good games.

I thought we were the better team for the majority of the game. Well deserved win

I know the TSN crew was saying it usually wouldn't be called, but to me it looked like something that would be. I mean the man coming on (forget who) was up at the Oilers blue line playing the puck while the other guy was still a few feet from his bench. There were so many ticky-tack calls, against both teams, but for me that wasn't one of them.

I though they couldn't review penalties. You definitely could see the ref acknowledge Quick's complaint afterwords, and you knew we were in trouble. But the call on the ice should have stood?

time to dig in the rulebook.

How much would a new ice plant cost for Rexall? Since both the Oilers and OK's play there they really should put one in because we don't need our guys getting injured because of crappy ice, not to mention unlike in years past we are just about as skilled as anyone so good ice benefits us.

Exactly. If Horcoff was winning 75% of PP draws, then a case could be made - or even if he was significantly better than others. But the simple fact is, he's not.

I'm not a Smyth fan, but would much rather have someone who knows what to do with the garbage standing there than Horcoff. I dunno - I'm trying hard to to ***** about Horcoff this year, but I just really don't understand why he keeps getting trotted out there on the PP.

Horcoff finished the night 50% on the dot. So did RNH. Belanger 67%, Smyth 60%, Hall 100%. Hell, Nuge won one clean against Stoll.

God I had a lot of ups and downs watching this game. I honestly don't know what to expect from this team in the next one. I guess it's just time to enjoy the ride that this young team is going to take us on. I hope Nail never loses his passion.

The ice plant was replaced four years ago. They talked about this on Gregor's show today.

Hockey, Oprah, Hockey, Tragically Hip, Hockey

That's why the ice has been so ****** lately. Rexall is just busy...

Oh I know. I didn't mean it was a bad thing. It's a good thing to be able to come back against these playoff teams.

In the words of Tom Renney "i guess they need hollywood in the playoffs" (or something like that) and the refs tried real hard to get the champs a win

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe northlands is too cheap to upgrade.

Terrible. I come home and the game on pvr cuts itself off with 10 minutes left in the thirs. I have to rely on sportscenter to see the end of the game.

Great ending and confidence booster.

Congrats on the win.

I personally enjoyed Yakupovs celebration, reminded me of Theo Fleury
