-25C. Which is -13F. Tonight it will fall to -27C, but feels like -38C with the windchill. Which is -17F, but feels like -36F. Pretty damn cold.

Outside arena's too. I wanted to go skating on the Assiniboine River while I was in town last, but I didn't remember to bring my darn skates!

I don't think MTS Centre ice is anything to brag about. Lots of rinks with better ice afaik

And then it gets up to 35C in the summer, many time with a humidex in the 40sC. Winnipeg gets two exteme seasons out of winter AND summer!

Always sold out of course but you can get tickets if you persist ( and spend some cash ).

You know what? That's not fair. We have really cold weather too, why can't we have heat?

Yep, hang around the ticket exchange thread and ticketmaster and they'll trickle out sometimes.

Yeah, exactly. People forget that sometime. And I don't know about ATL (never been there) but I was down in PHO last year and it was 42C, but to me it felt like ~20C here in Winnipeg since there was no humidity...it was nothing, compared to WPG summer (although that was April).

how do I volunteer for a game day thread? I have a pretty fun idea for a theme but it'd need a few days work

Between you and me, I don't think Wheeler is THAT smart to read things like that. lol
