First!

Canucks win 3-1 with a bounce back game from Schneider. Defense finally gets their *** into gear and shuts down RPG + Selanne. Oh and that Winnik fellow too. We need a roadtrip right now to just play a simple road game, and execute some wins to build up our confidence as we continue without Booth and Kesler.

Goal scorers:

Kassian
Hamhuis
Burrows

Schroeder with his first NHL point tonight.

I won't bet on this one, but I have a good feeling about the team gearing up even if it might not show on the final result.

Somehow I have a feeling that being at work during game time is gonna be good for my anger problems.

Lapierre back to 3C? And Burrows back on the wing? Hmm... I kinda liked what I saw from Burr playing center last game, and Lapierre is still in practice mode out there. Don't really like his chances of shutting down RPG.

Glad Schneider is getting the start though! Luongo in Anaheim never ends well.

I actually quite like these lines. Schroeder now has someone he can dish passes to, and have a higher chance of them not screwing it up. Lapierre tweaked his groin (will play though), so if we match him with Perry and Getzlaf, it could get ugly. Lapierre in mid-season form and I have no worries about him shutting them down. Right now though, he hasn't looked all that great. Here's hoping he can handle the task.

Well played OP. I hope that the Canucks can take advantage of their do-over too.

anyone predicting 3-1 or the like, you do realize it's canucks/ducks right.

6-4 Canucks.

Alright I've lurked these parts for long enough. Time to take part.

I'm saying 5-3 'nucks with Schneider playing well despite the 3 goals.

If it's me designing the lineups though I keep Burr at center and give Weise another crack at staying in the top six. If only to see him fall face first into the boards a couple more times.

I love the GDT. I'm changing my prediction to 4-3. I think things are going to get crazy.

EDIT: 4-3 Ducks that is.

Worry not people. If Schroeder does not score a goal against Anaheim. He is practically guaranteed to in the next game. We play the Sharks, who apparently have allowed a ridiculous 78 "first NHL goals."

Is there a source on the lineup change? Did Schroeder get promoted to the 2nd line?

Funny opening post even though the 3rd line is listed before the 2nd =P

I'll go with 3-2 Canucks with both Hiller and Schneider putting on clinics and making highlight reel saves all night.

3 of the 5 goals scored will be PPGs.

Sedins both get at least a point.

Schroeder gets an assist.

Excellent GDT Zombotron!

I predict a 4-2 win. Might be overly optimistic, but I expect the twins to each tally a goal, plus Bieksa and... Edler.
