I'm not overly optimistic about this game. After the opening game I find my self getting nervous when the play comes our way, even with Cory in net, which never happened last year. At any rate, win or lose, I'll be satisfied if our 2nd, 3rd, and/or 4th lines can put up some points and if Cory can hold his own.

GO NUCKS GO!

With Manny out that 4th line is ugly.

Just a minor correction in the line-up, but Peter Holland is expected to play tonight for Anaheim. I believe he's expected to center the 4th line, instead of Rakell. Getzlaf is also the center on the top line, not Perry.

Edit: Also, I think most Anaheim fans would have the Fowler pairing as the #1, since he'll probably get the most ice time.

Not really another choice, with Malhotra out. Unless we want to see Alberts or Barker tried on the fourth line?

I think your boys will have something to prove tonight. My hope is that the Ducks come out the same way.

I dunno, his ability to fail is pretty beastly.

until the playoffs when they get pushed around.

This. Burrows with the twins has never produced consistently in the playoffs. The twins have a lot to do with that obviously but adding Kassian might be what they need. Everyone in the league has seen so much of the twins with Burrows they know what to expect. It's stale.

the twins seem to play with more of an edge with Kassian. They certainly dont have to worry about getting punched in the face with him around. Could be what they need to focus on scoring, and Burrows/Kesler isn't exactly a bad thing.

Last call for good ideas in Bellingham. For now I am thinking the Copper Hog.

Any better ideas?

A guy like Kassian might also have the D rushing their passes.
