That's what happens when there is nobody else to fear on his line. Take out Granlund, prevent any threat the line can dream of having.

Was it Weber that made Suter look so good? Did we get the wrong guy.

Watched a Nashville game? Weber isn't looking any more solid that Suter.

I think they should swap Koivu and Granlund, I don't think they will do it though.

That call was brutal, especially as Detroit has been throwing actual cross-checks left and right for the whole game.

Good period, but the 0-0 scoreline kind of scares me.

As to Suter, he's not here to be a goal scoring machine.....that's NEVER been his game at the NHL level. This is his 8th year, and he has 38 goals in those 8 years. If you're expecting goals from him, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Controlled the play. Need to pot the first one or it'll be a disaster.

I really liked that period. Even though we didn't score on the PP, we sure looked a helluvalot better out there. They are moving a lot better rather then standing in there spots and playing table hockey.

Brodin looks real good out there, too. Man oh man.

This, or drop either Setoguchi or Cullen off the 2nd line for Clutterbuck. Granlund either needs more skill or more grit to help him out.

PP has no movement whatsoever. Only guys who move without puck are koivu and parise. I think its time to put MIG on that 1st unit.
