He's a priority to the Dallas Stars and their fans. I think I saw they're filing in Vermont so unless someone in the Vermont immigration office is a huge Dallas fan, he's just another guy trying to get a work visa. I think it gets done, but I doubt he's getting preferential treatment.

i'm pretty sure, that just like a passport, you can pay extra to have a visa expedited.
Stephane Robidas is among the League leaders in plus/minus at plus-6. He is second on the team in blocked shots (10) and hits (13). The 35-year-old will never come up in Norris Trophy talk, but he's off to a rock-solid start.
I didn't want to keep cluttering up the GDT with trade talk:
Players recently traded for 2nd round picks:
Lightning traded Dominic Moore, 2012 seventh round pick (#191-Brandon Whitney) to Sharks for 2012 second round pick (#37-Pontus Aberg) on 2012-02-16
Blue Jackets traded Antoine Vermette to Coyotes for Curtis McElhinney, 2012 second round pick (#45-Anthony Stolarz), 2013 conditional pick (fourth round if Coyotes advance to second round of 2012 playoffs, else fifth round) (?-?) on 2012-02-22
Hurricanes traded Ian White to Sharks for 2012 second round pick (#47-Brock McGinn) on 2011-02-18

I can't remember who brought this up last year, but I'd totally still jump at trading Morrow to Pittsburgh for Eric Tangradi.
You're getting a 23 year old project, and he's going no where in Pittsburgh. Doesn't speak well for him though that he can't find chemistry with two of the best centers in the world.
I think Morrow would only draw a conditional pick, and you at least get some value with rolling the dice that a new zip code could help this young man out. He's got to be a better net front presence on the PP too ... that's a big boy.
Would still like to see Ryder for Bleuger + 2nd (but obviously I'm biased due to where he's from). If they'd take Morrow for Tangradi as well, awesome. I don't even care if we keep as much of the salary as possible.
Obviously Ryder won't be moved unless we're 100% out of it or Smith pretty much forces his way into the top 6, but Morrow should be easy to get replace. Actually trading him is the problem.
I'm a sucker for a no-nonsense coach. One who isn't afraid to show some emotion or raise his voice. That, among other, more fundamental reasons is why i'm not a huge fan of Gully.
Lucky for me, his job security is currently at an all time low.
Shut Kari down until they're sure he's 100% healthy, and ease him back in when he is.
Given his history, I think that really is the best option long-term.
It lets Bachs/Nihlstorp show their worth as well.
I'm almost certain Morrow and Robidas will be gone by TD if it's a Cup they're after.
I seriously doubt Joe is sticking his neck out for help on D this season; they're beyond the kind of help he could reasonably provide, and as it stands, they aren't exactly looking playoff caliber.
Lastly, this may be premature, but it's just a thought.
I fear the rigors of the West could get the best of Jagr.
Not that it would necessarily show so much this season, but he's only got so much left in him, and being in the West certainly adds more wear and mileage than the East.
It wouldn't be a total shock to see him back in Philly at TD, if not sooner.
