Dolph Ziggler needs to change his name

I think we can all agree most of the audience accepts Ziggler as a tremendous in-ring competitor.

But his ridiculous name holds him back, does the name "DOLPH ZIGGLER" sound like that of a champion?

He needs to change his name to be taken more seriously, it sounds like a russian porno name. I dunno man in "PG" WWE, I don't think they'll make a guy with that name one of the faces of their company

He is too established to change his name without going on a lengthy hiatus first.

and his name is awesome.

His name is fine. He makes it work.

People still care about his name?

Nick Nemeth is a cool name (if "Nemeth" is pronounced "Nee-meth")

All you'll hear from the mainstream WWE audience is "why did Dolph Ziggler change his name?". I'm willing to bet not even 1% of them remember him being a part of the Spirit Squad.

So if Stone Cold Steve Austin was named... Otto Von Ruthless, he would have had the EXACT same career?

It was one of the names WWE creative had come up with for him after he wanted to ditch the Ringmaster moniker. Fang McFrost was another one.

A guy named CM Punk is the WWE champion.
Whats worse is no one even knows what CM stands for

I guess some people forgot what Dolph used to do early on, with that smarmy grin, extending his hand and saying "I'm Dolph Ziggler!"

Hell, he even used it in the middle of the Rumble a few years back

The name helps make his character what it is, and Creative would be foolish (even moreso) to drop or change it.

Its too late to change. They have way too much invested in his character right now, just to toss it and and start back at square one with a new name. It would probably be career suicide for him at least in the WWE.
