Wow, Gully.....and to think think of how elated this board was when we found out he would replace Crawford.
There's no explaining these decisions. There really isn't.

We've reached critical mass in the idiot department behind the bench.

So absolutely ridiculous.
Scratch one of your two best defensemen; great coaching.

Since this has been such a warm cuddly day, I guess Worley though he needed to start talking more ****:

I just posted that in the General Stars talk thread
Figured that was a better place for it.

Someone tried to get into a debate with me on twitter about Robidas and used his +/- numbers as a reason for being one of our better defenders.
If anyone defends Robidas at this point, I just assume they have no idea what they're talking about.

Not sure how anybody can take what DBD says seriously. Those clowns don't know ****.
Worley probably made eggs and bacon for Robidas this morning after they finished up.

Maybe he means it literally. Like, he couldn't decide who to scratch so he scratched the person who struck him as the oddest.

DBD got progressively worse over the lockout and has become almost unreadable. They along with Heika seem to sugarcoat everything. I know some of you don't like Sturm but I think he is far more willing to be critical than anyone and even if you disagree with him that is something the Stars sports scene really doesn't have anymore. Heika comes across as a mouth piece half the time and Stepneski now works for the organization.

I got tired of reading the same article over and over again just retyped and slightly revamped on DBD during the lockout.
I'm actually pretty bumped Stepneski works for the Stars now. Great for him, bad for his audience IMO.

Highly doubt we even get a point tonight unless Nilstorp is just lights out. Considering our D though, even if he is just lights out some will go in. Would like to be proven wrong though. Wish they scratched Robidas instead of Larsen.

Obviously terrible decisions and we're at a clear disadvantage.
But it's professional sports and anything can happen, right?

They're going to need to do PA announcements every 5 minutes saying, "Remember fans, we signed Jamie Benn!"

Don't worry. Jeff K will be there to spin it every which way he can.

... and that sucks because there is one fantastic thing I've been wanting to see. R. Smith is in a Top 6 role, and with injuries to Jagr and likely Roy he's going to get PP time. Also, Eakin will likely be on the PP. I don't want to get too excited though since Fiddler will likely be on the PP for the same damn reason as Eakin ... faceoffs.
If this game wasn't coming on the heels of that atrocious Chicago game, it might be easier to hold down the blind rage and enjoy the positives tonight. That might not be even true though ....
