You know I don't live in San Jose right? I've never been to a Sharks home game so I don't know the promotions....lol

I hate blackouts. Had to watch an entire intermission report about the hit in the first period when I really would rather see some analysis of the Sharks' awesome power play.

Am I correct in thinking that a huge part of the reason for the 1st line's amazing start is due to the addition of Pavelski as a full timer? I only watch 5-10 Sharks games per year, but I've been of the impression he was stuck on that 2nd line for the purpose of spreading out the offense, which certainly hasn't been kind to his career earnings.

Speaking of Pavs... I've watched the replay on that third goal about 30 times, from four different angles, and I'm about as sure as I can be that Clowe didn't touch that puck, and he's been robbed of his 9th point. Of course, I don't have the access to the cameras in the NHL war room.

Did any of you see the puck hit Clowe at any point?

Definitely the best and deepest blue line the Sharks have ever fielded. Burns and Demers aren't even playing too--scary.

Well we havent started a season like this in a long time. The team already looks amazing and we're missing Burns and Demers. Irwin is exciting to watch and Gomez is looking like he was a good addition. I don't know, but I just feel really good about this season, even though its early.

I'll be right back though, going to go knock on wood for the rest of the third.

O and stuart. What a stud.

He started all of last year on the 1st line.

Uh oh we may hear Shanny talk about Stuarts onus. Sharks can't afford to lose Stuart.

pavs has been full time 1st liner with thornton and marleau since last season. last season though, he was thorntons favorite target. so far this year it has been marleau.

Totally agree. Plus, Clowe 'may' be more suited beside Wingels and possibly Sheppard.

It's only a concern when the backup starts the game. Coming in relief I don't think is as troubling for the Sharks.

and speaking of backups, Greiss has been solid. Hasn't had to do a lot, but he's made the saves when called upon.

Except possibly in the case of a back-up who is also an ex-Duck, which is cause for vexation. I'm terribly vexed.

Don't worry, he was a Maple Leaf. That's like multiplying by zero.

I like what Gomez has done today. He can pass the puck really well.

Man has Stuart been great or what? I don't know what Detroit was talking about, he's played like a #2 d-man so far. He keeps that up and we may have two #1's and two #2's.
