You're right. Parros probably isn't good enough to play every night either, but at least he is better than Staubitz at playing.

Either way, the team could use an enforcer-player.

As much as I love Parros, he was simply too much tied to The Code. He wouldn't fight non-fighters and generally was just too nice.

We need someone whose willing to fight anyone every shift.

i don't want to see our skill players fighting often, and i don't want them taking cheapshots, because we lack guys who can play physical and fight, at this point DSP adds no more than Staubitz til he shapes up

I'm not sure DSP brings ANY toughness. He seems kind of like Brown. Hits a lot, but doesn't seem at all interested in fighting/standing up for people/etc.

Consider that in juniors he had 35-50 PIMs.

Brown scores goals DSP doesn't do **** in the gritty areas. Bring up Etem already.

They aren't going to bring up Etem to play 4th line minutes. He'll take Selanne's place on the 2nd line if he plays good down the stretch in the AHL.

Well San Jose has McLaren and Minnesota has Kassian, but both have been healthy scratches so far, so I guess Colorado with Bordeleau who has been playing all their games so far then St.Louis with Reaves and Chicago has Bollig.

Huh? Which place will Selanne take when Etem takes his? Or do you have a more mid- to long-term definition of "down the stretch"?

I believe what he meant was that if he plays well in the AHL down the stretch this season, he will replace Selanne next season, assuming he retires.

I like the D in.general it took a while for Murray to change how soft they were. I guarantee calls were made by Hillers agent after watching him get run over all for years.

I would be curious to see who you would suggest for the team as far as toughness Dirk. It cant just be pipe dreams but players the Ducks could actually obtain or put in the lineup.

I mean you always scream soft or this team lacks toughness. I want to hear some names of players that the Ducks could add to their lineup right now.

Remember no pipe dreams like saying I would take Shawn Thornton. Well he is probably not available.

I still liked my 4th line suggestion on the main boards a year or two ago.

If Clutterbuck winds up being a salary cap casualty in Minnesota he should be a priority. I doubt he'd wind up here but he's exactly what the team needs.

Maroon/Rackell/Staubitz or PL3

This kid line 4th line of undersized players is a disaster waiting to happen and Cogliano/Bonino are both expensive useless holes
No matter all the roll 4th line talk they still get limited minutes so might as well be banging some bodies
