Wow MWS outstanding job on the GDT so far! For the love of god Panthers show up like you guys actually want to win. I could careless if we lose just as long as we outwork, outhit, and outscore them...

I think Dineen needs to try and set the tone physically in this game from the start. I think we should have a line of Upshall-Matthias-Skille as the starters and just get everyone energenized by laying down some physical play.

We really need this one for pride sake. They gave us a beating up in Ottawa, it's time for us to return the favor. Go Cats!

I agree with Coolburn. We need to set the tone right off the bat and get Ottawa on their heels. There should be no excuse for not coming out strong.

Matthias and Skille were some of the only guys who cared about playing the last two games, outside of our goalies and maybe Ellerby.

As Jovo will return tonight now that he's rested up and with Caruso likely out, Kulikov needs to take a seat. He has been playing lazy and stupid. Give Strachan his spot and send a message.

As for the top line, assuming Kopecky is healthy he can stay on there. He was a workhorse last game. Santorelli needs to be tossed immediately. Shore was already better than him, in that he tried.

George Richards @GeorgeRichards
#FlaPanthers top line gets another RW as Kovalev joins Weiss and Fleischmann; Kopecky joins Huberdeau and Mueller #Sens

Ugh.....That doesn't sound like a good idea at all.

Shore is on the third line with Matthias and Upshall.

I like the third line. Everyone will skate hard. Too bad Dineen doesn't move Matthias and Upshall to the top two lines for some energy.

I think Kovalev should be a PP specialist with a shift here and there. I don't think he fits either. Too slow.

He has to find lightning in a bottle until the other half of our top 2 lines return.

seems like many teams are adjusting lines in this fiasco...

#FlaPanthers Kevin Dineen says Kris Versteeg skated early Thursday, should practice Friday. Still questionable for Sat v #Flyers

Marcel Goc is skating but doubtful through next week

When asked about Sean Bergenheim, #FlaPanthers Kevin Dineen quickly said 'talk to Dale.' News is probably as we expected: not good.

Damn so Tough playing through this beginning compressed stretch behind the eight ball...

I was listening to 940 Winz this morning and Goldie said he "Versteeg should be in the lineup Saturday night".

Injury report: Defenseman Mike Lundin is questionable for Ottawa with a broken finger. … For Florida, Michael Caruso is doubtful for Thursday's game with a bruised wrist. Bergenheim (groin), Erik Gudbranson (shoulder) and Goc (ankle) are all day-to-day. Versteeg remains on injured reserve as he recovers from hip surgery.

I pulled this from the pregame article on the panther's site.

Recovering from hip surgery? I heard he nicked up his groin during the morning skate last Saturday. Goldie went as far as to say that his hip is fine and he's dealing with an aggravated groin.

Wtf.. Is it hip or groin?

This is a pretty big game. After this game the season will be approaching the 10% mark of completion. Really need to get 2 here and establish home ice advantage. We had a rough go in Canada. Lets turn it around at home.
