Who are the players of the game?

If other, name who.

As much as I agree that Reasoner shouldn't be the player of the game, he did have a decent game and can't really complain

Ironic vote for Dipietro. Hey, it helps us get closer to Seth Jones!

Sorry to interrupt your thread, but how has Streit been doing this year? I've heard mixed opinions on him. In the few times I've seen him he hasn't impressed me much this year. I know he's been a solid player in the past, but I'm just wondering.

He's honestly not been terrible, especially lately. He gets a tough rap around here because he's fairly soft for a defender and is susceptible to completely boneheaded plays (bad pinches/ lazy to get the puck on an icing/ bad clears) that often lead to goals. He is a good offensive presence on the blue line and for my money was the best player on the ice for the Islanders yesterday (not saying much) and a toss up for best tonight (with Hamonic).

Bad start to the season, but he has been playing much better the last 4-5 games
