Id make them swap Kassian for Jensen and then that would be a pretty solid return
Kassian needs to be coming back if Kessel goes.

Just keep Kessel lol...
I want a number 1 goalie so damn bad lol, and Kassian has really impressed me. Draft picks are always nice too. But like I said not my ideal package. What I really want is to work out something around Kessel for Couts+Simmonds (mentioned this yesterday), but I dont think the Flyers would be interested.

Couts + Simmonds I would do I think. Maybe even Voracek instead of Simmonds

+1.

I can think of at least a 100 players that the Leafs need...doesn't mean they are available.

No way.

Replace Rattie with Schwartz and maybe. Elliott is useless, unless his wife comes in the deal as well

Kassian is putting up points because he's playing with two hockey machines in the Sedins.

Kessel would put Vancouver over the top, but they don't really have anything I want.

Neither does Nashville.

Minni, Philly, maybe Phx are the only reasonable teams IMO.

Straight to my house.

St. Louis isn't an ideal trading partner.

Have you watched any Vancouver games? Kassian stands out, he's huge and he's quick - that's such an uncommon quality. He will be a dominant force, and would immediately draw comparisons to Clark if he was ever a Leaf. That's a guy you target and keep for his career.

What about something like Mark Bell and Mike Komisarek then?

Kidding, but these are unique players, so good luck with that.

Admittedly I haven't watched a ton, I've seen one full game, and bits an pieces here and there (this season). I'll take your word for it.

I was impressed when he was playing against us for Buffalo (maybe only one game) but after he went to Vancouver he kind of did nothing.

One of your posters came over and asked about a Kessel to LI proposal.

I don't see the isles in the mix because of their tight budget and Kessel's approaching unrestricted free agency.

I'd hoped Chuckles would start spending once he got his arena deal, but he hasn't.

Clowe would be a darling in the Toronto fans eyes. Big body bruiser, nose for the net.

Cherry would orgasm over him every Saturday night. But that Canadian core is staying in SJ, Clowe, Thornton, Marleau, Couture, Boyle, Burns.

I wonder if we can get Kyle Beach cheaply and unleash him like a rabid dog on the opposition? We need someone borderline insane out there, a real wolf among the sheep type guy.

LOL its funny how people are still on Beach after all these years.

He can't skate which is hit main issue. Would love to unleash him on the opposition, but he wouldn't be able to catch up to anybody let alone do some damage.

The Leafs could also use Malkin and Crosby.

I'm no Beach fan, I just think we need a bit of crazy on the roster...
