He can play brilliantly for 20 minuites and then five seconds later make a lazy, boneheaded play that turns the game around for the worse. That's not the type of solid leader you look for, not the type of player you want on your team in the playoffs.
I don't know. If he was our #2 and not our captain, I wouldn't have a problem, likely.
Near the deadline (when the Leafs are most likely out of it):
1. Loktionov + Bernier for Gunnarson + CMac.
2. Grabo for the best package of picks/prospect we can get.
3. Bozak to Chicago or Vancouver for a 2nd. Unless he reinks for 2.75 or less.
4. Steckel for a late round pick to whoever.
Bozak would net a 1st rounder from anybody seriously interested in him at the deadline. And if we can resign him under $3M and the pick wasn't looking likely to be top 20, I'd be very wary of moving him.
