I don't see the Jenner infatuation tbh. He's gunna be a solid 2nd/3rd liner. I highly doubt he becomes anything more than that.

But him + Biggs on our future 3rd line would be beautiful

Sounds like a line constantly taking dumb, bad penalties.

He's a do it all player.

Same reason I like ROR a lot.

He doesn't have ROR's ceiling.

RoR is a #1/2 C
Jenner is a #2/3 C

IMO.

Would be great to get them both though

I agree, Jenner is most likely a 3C but he'll be a great 3C in my opinion (aka. fact).

Best PKer has to be your goalie. Hasn't been true on this team in a decade.

Reimer has looked pretty solid this year. Much better than what we had in the past.

Haven't felt as comfortable with a goalie since we had Aubin, which is sad lol

I'd be interested in dealing with NY for Staal and Kreider. Long-term physical #2 defenseman and potential top-six power winger.

Rangers aren't gonna move their number one defenseman considering the high hopes for this season.

What d'you all think of this proposal I saw from a Canucks fan (can't remember the username now) on the main forum that a few others seemed to agree they'd pull the trigger on?

To VAN:
Phil Kessel

To TOR:
Cory Schneider
Zack Kassian
2013 1st

A few disagreed with giving up Kassian and said the most they'd offer would be Schneider + Jensen + 2013 1st, but either way I thought that was a pretty interesting, left-field idea for for a trade. The Canucks would get significantly better now, adding one of the league's most dangerous goal scorers while sacrificing future pieces, while the Leafs would finally get their #1 goaltender of the future, a solid winger prospect in either Kassian or Jensen, and an additional 1st in a very strong draft. That's the kind of return we were hoping we could get for Sundin to lay the foundation for the rebuild.

I wonder what else Vancouver would add if we packaged Bozak with Kessel, itd fill the void till Kesler returned.

Schneider + Kassian + 1st + Jensen

for

Kessel + Bozak

Would Nonis do that deal if it was offered to him? Schneider would fill that #1 Goalie spot that we've been looking for. Kassian could play alongside Grabo or Kadri and provide a big body forward for us. This move would probably make the rest of this season a write off, just aiming to get a higher pick in the draft. But we could start to look at a future of 1C=Mackinnon, 1D=Rielly and 1G=Schneider. With veteran guys like Grabo, Phaneuf and Lupol to add to that core, then Gardiner, Kadri and JvR as additional pieces. That would be a team to get excited about.

I doubt the Nucks would add Jensen to get Bozak. Maybe a different prospect, with less potential than Jensen, or a draft pick.
