Come on guys, that's not really fair. Agreed Dirk is overboard, but Staubitz hasn't had to enforce tonight so can't blame him for not doing it. I want DSP sent down but I'd much rather it be Beleskey-Holland-Rakkel.

Specially when apart from that shift, been a pretty decent reason why they were getting pinned in own zone

Agreed about him being pretty much useless tonight but its also not fair to say that he's not enforcing tonight cause there hasn't been a need.

Nothing wrong with it, it's just a random combination.

Props to Fasth for keeping them in the game early in the second. Put some pressure on Hiller, could be good competition. I thought that was Selanne's goal.

Dirk's post was alluding to we're not getting pushed around with Staubitz in the line up, and that's utter rubbish.

I'm not blaming Staubitz for not enforcing, but the only way Staubitz is a factor in a game is if he is enforcing, and he hasn't this game (and as you said nor has he had to).

Ryan needs the goal more than Selanne, shush, we don't need them changing it

You're right. That isn't fair to him. I'm sure when the opportunity comes up, he'll do his job there. That, and not taking stupid penalties, are pretty much what you want from a player like him.

Which still doesn't mean his presence in the line-up has anything to do with Anaheim not being pushed around.

Cogliano became useless awful quick when he got separated from Winnik and Koivu. I hate it that it's so god damn hard to find him a line where he can be useful.

Actually, I expect a few good hits too. I've only seen one tonight.

But Selanne just needs three more goals to tie Luc Robitaille.

Yeah was thinking that. I wish they would have just switched Ryan and Palmieri.

I mean yeah we don't need a checking line, but they were also consistently one of our more dangerous lines offensively.

Doesn't apply. Nashville isn't going to not play physically because they're afraid of someone like Staubitz. That's ridiculous.
