Okay bud, call me in 2 years when your team is "not blown up".
Depends what you mean by "Blown up". In 2 years Gionta, Markov, and Kaberle will be UFA, so decisions will need to be made. No doubt there will a trade or two between now and then as well, as well as a couple young players graduating to the Habs.
You could be right that in two years the Habs will look different than they do right now. I doubt the team will be "Blown up" though - these changes will be gradual.
sorry--Some oiler fans do not want Subban anywhere near their dressing room..it has all the ingrediants to be a powder keg already.
Subban has had too many run ins with teammates that made the news for my liking--Montreal used to have an ethos--what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room--maybe it is a change in type of players--but too many negative things have come out from what used to be the tightest dressing room in sports.
Exactly, anywhere else, it wouldn't made the news. The media in Montreal towards the Canadiens is the equivalent of paparazzi in Hollywoood. Just watch RDS, these guys don't know jack if it's not hockey. Before the game, they talk about the Canadiens for 1h30, after the game, they talk about them for 2hrs. Then they got the sports ''news'' show called Sport 30 and they talk about them some more. You wake up in the morning, Canadiens talk in the newspapers. There can't be a fly landing in Montreal's locker room without the media making a fuss out of it. Anywhere else it would be nothing.
I don't know why Carolina is in this. Skinner is as young or younger than every player in that package except Miller, and put up more points and goals in the NHL at 18 than Miller did in the OHL at the same age
